This is the early work by the composer which was composed at 1973. The title is famous by the railway from Paris to Istanbul from the beginning of 20th century.
The work open in a slow introduction which is full of oriental overtones. This part the guitar 6th, 5th and 1st string is tune to D, G and D respectively. The second part is in a fast rocking rhythm to imitate the train running in the railway and with some double notes slur. The tuning of the guitar in this part is the 6th and 5th string remain in D and G but the 1st string is tune to F, this make the whole piece full of exotic sound.
